Middle levels of concrete in the Tokyo wind-tunnel are ready. The circle in the center is where the glass flight chamber will be installed.
The bottom level of the concrete building of the Tokyo tunnel is almost finished. The platform with the workers in the center is where the confusor will be installed and through which the air-stream will run upwards to the flight chamber.
Diagonal slopes, where the turning vanes will be mounted, can already be seen.
In an old Japanese tradition an amulet Omamori was placed into the concrete foundation of the building to ensure the gods protection.
A couple of meters of soil to be excavated, and the construction of the concrete part of the building is ready to start.
The piles are carefully engineered to easily withstand earthquakes, which are not uncommon in Japan.
