FlyStation Japan marked our debut in the world of vertical wind tunnel projects. This turnkey indoor skydiving facility in Japan was executed as a comprehensive solution, covering everything from the initial design phase to the construction and commissioning of the installation.
The fastest, quietest, and most powerful 15 ft (4.5m) wind tunnel in the world, FlyStation Japan is fully compliant with strict local safety regulations and earthquake resistance requirements. Since opening, it has set a quality benchmark that continues to guide the indoor skydiving industry. The facility features the first generation of the TT45 PRO wind tunnel — a machine strong enough to lift a 250-kilogram sumo wrestler while operating at impressively low noise levels. Virtually inaudible from the outside, it is situated within a residential complex just 30 meters from an apartment block, demonstrating seamless integration into the urban environment.
Beyond its technical advancements, the indoor skydiving tunnel boasts a distinctive design. An additional glass floor around the flight chamber offers spectators an exclusive view of the upper section during flight.
FlyStation Japan has set new standards for safety, performance, and design — raising expectations for what an indoor skydiving project can achieve.
