Sound Control Glass is designed to decouple and disseminate sounds waves for superior sound damping performance. This system targets sounds in the 1000 – 3000 Hz range which is the “noise transparency” range that allows the most irritating of sounds to penetrate windows.
Sound Control Glass provides exceptional sound insulation while maintaining the safety and security benefits of laminated glass. It effectively reduces impact and airborne noise, making it ideal for environments near airports, highways, and other noise-prone areas.
Features:
- Acoustic performance decouples and disperses sound waves, targeting frequencies between 1000 – 3000 Hz, which are most disruptive.
- Can be paired with solar-absorbing laminated glass and tinted interlayers for additional benefits.
- Soft, flexible interlayer reduces noise transmission by approximately 50%.
